The Beaman Home: Emergency Shelter

Non-Residential Services

Emergency Shelter-Safe Haven

Our emergency housing provides a temporary safe haven, food, clothing, and other basic necessities to domestic violence victims, and their children, who are fleeing their abuser.  The Housing facility and the Crisis Hotline is staffed 24-hours a day, 7-days a week.  While in emergency housing, our advocates make sure all immediate needs are met, work on social and life skills necessary to gain independence from abuse and violence and refer individuals for additional Beaman services or other human service organizations.
